Next Stage features intriguing conversations and performances that span the Music, Film and Interactive industries. Located inside the SXSW Trade Show, Next Stage events take place Sunday, March 15 to Wednesday, March 18, and will offer expert insights into current industry issues and feature some of the brightest creative, emerging talent at SXSW.

Highlights from 2014

Next Stage 2014 hosted its most distinguished roster to date and offered intimate discussions on multi-media design, art and culture.

Photographer Brandon Stanton of Humans of New York kicked off the schedule, with an inspiring talk about pursuing your creative ideas while Cute Circuit brought their luminous fashion/tech creations to life. Funny or Die's creative team had the audience in stitches with How to Win the Internet in 60 Minutes, and Tomorrow is Another Day shared the outrageous stories behind the most notable social media gaffs. Run Your Film Like a Startup gave a new spin on the business of filmmaking while reps from Sennheiser, DTS and Sound Lounge discussed 3D audio advancements in What Does the Future Sound Like?. Next Stage hosted official SXSW showcasing artists, such as Austin's Dana Falconberry, Swedish pop duo Kristal and Jonny Boy, and Nashville's newest heavy-hitters Clear Plastic Masks.
