Next Stage draws inspiration from the creative industries to feature presentations and performances that span the focus of Interactive, Film and Music. These convergent sessions showcase the inventive, emerging talent participating at SXSW, including cross industry panels with diverse speakers, and intimate showcases from official SXSW artists.
2016 programming highlights include a meeting with Pepper, the first humanoid robot brought to you by Aldebaran, and exploring the possibility of putting the first man on Mars with NASA, as well as conversations with Academy Award-winning producer Ed Saxon, and performances from The Ballroom Thieves, Wildwood Kin and Moving Panoramas.
