Introduced in 2013, Film Startup Alley showcases cutting edge startups operating at the convergence of technology and entertainment. These innovators are changing the landscape of how we create, consume and share content.
Part of the Next Stage, this year's sessions include Fifty Shades of Creativity, featuring a conversation with Dana Brunetti and Fred Seibert, moderated by Fast Company senior writer, Chuck Salter. A current Oscar nominee, Brunetti is the president of Kevin Spacey's Trigger Street Productions and the mastermind behind the decision to release the smash hit, House of Cards, on Netflix rather than via more traditional channels. Seibert is a "serial media entrepreneur," and was both the first creative director of MTV, and last president of Hanna-Barbera, before breaking out on his own to launch Frederator Networks, which has grown to become a leader in independent cartoon production.
