The SXSW experience for film registrants is going to be better than ever in 2013. The beautiful Intercontinental Stephen F. Austin Hotel will be home to a number of great film-dedicated initiatives including the Come & Capture Film Factory, the Fandango film lounge and an excellent bar space with nightly happy hours for film registrants. Presenter opportunities are open for these happy hours and are the perfect way for your company to target the key players at SXSW Film – from industry figures, to panelists, to filmmakers.

Superstorm Sandy, Film Submissions and You

Tomorrow, Thursday, November 15 is the Final Late Deadline to submit films to SXSW, but we're aware that recent events will make this difficult for many. Superstorm Sandy sent mailing services, production offices and processes into disarray, and in many cases continues to do so.

If you're trying to submit a film to SXSW and have been affected by Sandy, please write to us at film@sxsw.com to let us know. We will do all we can to accommodate, on a case by case basis.

This Thursday, November 15 is the very last day for us to receive your film for consideration in SXSW Film 2013.

That means that by Thursday, you must complete the online application and we MUST have your screener in-house by the end of that day.
