Nakia is bringing his powerful voice and music to the SXSWfm Radio Day Stage on Saturday, March 16. Nakia possesses both texture and flexibility: he can sound rigid on one line, and fluid on the next line. No matter what, Nakia’s voice has power. The music is rock and roll infused with soul, blues, R&B, and more! Nakia lives in Austin, and it shows through his music. His songs are reminiscent of ZZ Top and Stevie Ray Vaughan, as well as John Mayer and John Legend. Stop by the Radio Day Stage at noon on Saturday, March 16, to see Nakia and more SXSW Showcasing Artists.

for another reason – the launch of its groundbreaking VEVO TV.
