SXSW V2V is hitting the road this summer to meet up with digital creatives, entrepreneurs, VCs, startups and other tech professionals who are interested in learning more about this exciting new SXSW event scheduled August 11-14 in Las Vegas.
3D printing emerged as one of the hottest topics at the 2013 SXSW Interactive Festival...witness the buzz around the Opening Remarks from MakerBot CEO Bre Pettis. Also part of the panel programming at this year's event was University of Texas Law School Student Cody Wilson, who is founder of the company Defense Distributed. Wilson has gained international headlines this week after revealing that his group has successfully developed the first-ever 3D-printed handgun, thus adding a significantly different dimension to the promise of a self-manufactured future.
