The SXSW Staff has worked very hard to bring the 2013 event to fruition. We represent all walks of life from within the community that comes together in Austin each spring. Staff have the extremely through the SXSW PanelPicker. We asked staff members Katie King, Danielle Zamora and Jessica Cox the following question...
"What are you most excited about for SXSW Interactive 2013?"
There are lots of you-had-to-be-there moments at SXSW; when so many people from the film, interactive, music and comedy worlds hang out in the same place, amazing things happen. If only there was some way to record it all...
Comedy fans, get ready for a week of live podcast recordings (alongside SXSW Comedy's packed schedule of standup, improv and sketch showcases, panels and parties). All live podcast recordings will be at the Esther's Follies (525 E. 6th Street) stage, presented by TuneIn, and they're open to all SXSW badge and wristband holders. Here's your guide to the shows you can check out next week (and look forward to listening to forever):
With the ubiquity of mobile gaming and more than 235 million people playing games on Facebook each month, in-game advertising offers a world of possibility. Innovative brands are able to engage consumers in more positive and unobtrusive ways than ever before. And SXSW 2013 offers a chance to mix and mingle with just such an innovator at the King.com SXSW Games Advertising Mixer.
Back again for SXSW 2013, Built features another exciting series of discussions featuring innovators and creators. Join us at Next Stage for this Make & Tell event as these builders reveal their design process and showcase their inventions. Stick around after their short presentations for a meet and greet with the designers and their creations!
