Through ingenuity, innovation, and inventiveness, the 48 companies presenting at the fifth annual SXSW Accelerator proved that they deserved a spot in tomorrow's final round and a chance at the Grand Prize titles.

Overall, the event allowed early stage companies to increase their visibility while getting specific feedback from a panel of judges consisting of industry experts, venture capitalists, and high profile media influencers.

All-Star Lineup Announced for Brazos Hall Presented by Yahoo!

What do ghost hunters, puppets and some of the top musical acts at SXSW have in common? All will be hosted by Yahoo! At Brazos Hall.
 
Today Yahoo! announced the launch of The Fuzz, a new original comedy web series about puppet cops at SXSW following a great watch party last night. Tomorrow join Yahoo! for a watch party for Ghost Ghirls, another web comedy, but this one is about two ditzy ghost hunters, which will include an appearance by Jack Black and a performance by Tenacious D (there will be a limited capacity for the watch party, early arrival encouraged).
