Mexico is joining the fold with a bigger presence this year. SXSW, in conjunction with Bonus Creative, held a networking and mentoring event in Mexico City on January 22.

To some – okay, many – Vegas is just a place to party.
Beyond the glitz and glam of the Strip, there's a very different kind of community emerging. VegasTech is a collection of tech innovators and entrepreneurs with a fierce sense of pride and desire to make Vegas the #1 new tech hot spot, and they're bringing it all to Austin in March.
The first-ever community representation at SXSW Interactive, VegasTech will showcase some of its top startups at the Trade Show, as well as an interview booth hosted by media partner Tech Cocktail.
More than five hundred companies submitted their web-based products to the fifth annual SXSW Interactive Accelerator. Competition was tough and we're extremely grateful for all of the great submissions we received this year. Congratulations to all the finalists who will be showcasing their products during SXSW Interactive on Monday and Tuesday, March 11 and 12 at the Hilton Austin Downtown.
