200+ more sessions announced for 2014 SXSW Interactive Festival

Featured Sessions for SXSW Interactive 2014 include (left to right on top row) Randi Zuckerberg, Biz Stone, Amy Cuddy; (left to right on middle row) Alexis Ohanian, Stephen Wolfram, Rob Rhinehart; (left to right on bottom row) Jim Olson, Lauren Bush Lauren.

SXSW Interactive brings together some of the world's most creative thinkers to talk about many of tomorrow's most innovative ideas. Find the ideas that are most relevant to your personal journey with today's announcement of more than 200 additional sessions for March 2014 in Austin.

The sessions below reveal several of the trends and themes that will be particularly important for SXSW Interactive 2014. These trends and themes include "Design and Development," "Art, Science and Inspiration," "Privacy," "Global Impact and Policy," and "Intelligent Future." We continue to see lots of very strong interest in Startup Village programming; for March 2014, look for even more international participation in this space. Likewise, we know that digital creatives attending SXSW enjoy more in-depth coverage of topics related to their craft -- hence the more than 30 "Workshops" listed below.

Today’s announcement is formatted alphabetically by theme, (and each theme is aligned with a specific venue). Within each venue, sessions are listed alphabetically by first word of the title. The name of the first speaker listed in the proposal is provided immediately after the title -- in many cases, the session includes more than one speaker (although for sake of brevity, only one speaker is listed in today's announcement). Click on the title to learn more information about the session and about the speakers via its entry page in the SXSW PanelPicker. Sessions marked with a double asterisk (**) are designated as Core Conversations. Given that meaningful, topic-focused discussions with smart digital creatives are at the heart of the SXSW Interactive experience, this format is always very popular with attendees.

In addition to all the content listed below, click on the 2014 Sessions page to view the full list of programming for SXSW 2014. The list on the 2014 Sessions page includes all content posted below, as well as the 500+ sessions announced on October 14. Also be sure to browse the Featured Sessions, as well as the impressive lineup of keynote speakers (including Austin Kleon on Friday, March 7 and Adam Savage on Monday, March 10).
