What does October 4 mean to me? For most of us in Austin, this date means the first day of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. While I am quite excited to hop around from stage to stage all weekend, this event does not rank my top thought when thinking of October 4. This particular day, for me, marks the ten day countdown to our SXSW Interactive 2014 programming announcement!
As the SXSW Interactive workshop coordinator, these last few months entailed me diligently grading over one hundred workshop proposals (via the SXSW PanelPicker) in order to come up with the best hands-on, educational programming line-up for our SXSW Interactive attendees. In ten days, on Monday, October 14, I will finally be able to share with you all the first round of our 2014 accepted Interactive workshop sessions.
So, add it to your calendar, scribble in your pocket book, and/or write yourself a post-it reminder stuck upon your monitor to check back here on October 14 to peruse the first round of announced SXSW 2014 Interactive programming, which includes our highly popular extended workshop sessions.
Additionally, that Friday, October 18, marks our second registration deadline. Purchase a badge before prices increase on Saturday, October 19!
