SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award: Share Your Creativity by Entering Your Project

Enter your project for the SXSW Gamer's Voice Award

Most of my colleagues in the video game industry remember, fondly, the very first time we saw any our games displayed on a store shelf or picked up and played by a fan. It didn’t matter if it was an instant hit or merely had a niche following. The feeling of fulfillment, the joy of collaboration and the pride in the completion of it, made the journey worthwhile. This is and has always been the penultimate joy of my experience in the video game industry.

The SXSW Gaming Awards has created the SXSW Gamer’s Voice category in hopes that we can help and encourage aspiring developers begin to realize their dreams.  Submit your games for a chance to win the first ever SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award, at the Gaming Awards Ceremony, Saturday March 8, 2014.  If you are selected as a top 10 nominee, you receive free demo / booth space in the Indie Showcase, March 7-9 on the SXSW Gaming Expo Floor, alongside your peers, and are given a glimpse of the joy in seeing someone play and enjoy your passion as much you had giving it life.

The deadline to submit is Friday, December 13, 2103 at 11:59 p.m. CST.  There is no application fee to submit.  We only accept one project per developer, so be sure to enter your latest and greatest.  To submit your project for the SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award, and to learn more about the rules and regulations, please visit the official SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award page.
