The SXSW Interactive Awards highlights the best innovators, creators and trend-setters of the online world. Presented by INNOCEAN, this event occurs tonight at 7 pm on the 6th Floor of the Downtown Austin Hilton. Jessica Chobot of Nerdist News will serve as emcee for the 2014 SXSW Interactive Awards ceremony. Chobot has worked for or contributed at IGN Entertainment, FHM UK, Mania.com, G4, Maxim Radio and most recently Nerdist News. Chobot will present awards in the following categories:

Other awards that will be given out at tonight's gala event include:
The Speaker of the Event Award goes out to the speaker from SXSW Interactive 2014 whose presentation makes the biggest impact on the digital community. Previous winners have included Cory Booker in 2013, Stephen Wolfram in 2012 and Jane McGonigal in 2011.
Digital Campaign of the Year goes to the best interactive campaign from the 2013 calendar year as voted by our judges. Previous winners have included the Invisible Children in 2013, TESCO Home Plus in 2012, and Old Spice: Smell Like A Man, Man in 2011.
Tonight's ceremony will also include the induction of Joi Ito of the MIT Media Lab into the SXSW Interactive Hall of Fame.
