Kim Dotcom Speaks! A Skype Panel with Charles Graeber of WIRED

Kim Dotcom by WilkKim Dotcom by Wilk Kim Dotcom is a German-Finnish Internet entrepreneur, currently residing in New Zealand. He is the founder of the file-sharing site, Megaupload, as well as his much discussed current project, Mega.

Dotcom will be interviewed at SXSW via Skype in a convergent talk titled, Kim Dotcom Speaks! A Skype Panel, by WIRED Contributing Editor Charles Graeber at Dell Hall at the Long Center on Monday, March 11 at 3:30pm. Graeber, author of the upcoming book, The Good Nurse, spent several weeks with Dotcom and is currently writing a book about the man who has come to symbolize the issue of privacy, piracy, and our digital future.

In January of this year, Dotcom launched a new project / website, called Mega, which opened up to the public exactly one year after Megaupload was shut down. Mega is a cloud storage service that uses encryption to protect users from government or third party "spies" from invading users' privacy.
