Adobe to Present 12th Annual Web Awards

The 12th Annual SXSW Interactive Web Awards are presented by Adobe Systems, makers of Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and other software packages that help Web Awards participants express their creativity.

The winners of the Best of Show and People's Choice prizes at the Web Awards Ceremony on Sunday evening, March 15 will receive a premium prize package including software from Adobe.

In Case You Missed It: 2008 Web Awards Ceremony Recap

The 11th Annual SXSW Interactive Web Awards Ceremony // Presented by Adobe took place on March 11, 2008 at the Hilton Austin Downtown.

The ceremony began with 2008 Ceremony emcee Eugene Mirman explaining the content of the Interactive big bags to the crowd. Then Mirman got started handing out the night's awards.

Mirman kept the awards and laughs coming the entire night with help from The Ninja (pictured above) from "Ask A Ninja," who was present to make acceptance speeches when the crowd least expected it -- in true ninja style.

After all 20 awards were handed out, including the People's Choice and Best of Show awards, the night concluded with the Web Awards After-Party at Emo's.
