The 12th Annual SXSW Interactive Web Awards Ceremony // Presented by Adobe

The final piece of the Web Awards competition will be the Web Awards Ceremony, where winners from each of the competition's categories will be announced.

This action-packed event will feature a bevy of hilarious skits from your favorite Internet celebs. Join us on Sunday evening, March 15, 2009 at the beautiful Hilton Austin Downtown, immediately following the official Web Awards Pre-Party.

In Case You Missed It: 2008 Web Awards Ceremony Recap

The 11th Annual SXSW Interactive Web Awards Ceremony // Presented by Adobe took place on March 11, 2008 at the Hilton Austin Downtown.

The ceremony began with 2008 Ceremony emcee Eugene Mirman explaining the content of the Interactive big bags to the crowd. Then Mirman got started handing out the night's awards.

Mirman kept the awards and laughs coming the entire night with help from The Ninja (pictured above) from "Ask A Ninja," who was present to make acceptance speeches when the crowd least expected it -- in true ninja style.

After all 20 awards were handed out, including the People's Choice and Best of Show awards, the night concluded with the Web Awards After-Party at Emo's.
