Kim Dotcom by WilkKim Dotcom by Wilk Kim Dotcom is a German-Finnish Internet entrepreneur, currently residing in New Zealand. He is the founder of the file-sharing site, Megaupload, as well as his much discussed current project, Mega.

Dotcom will be interviewed at SXSW via Skype in a convergent talk titled, Kim Dotcom Speaks! A Skype Panel, by WIRED Contributing Editor Charles Graeber at Dell Hall at the Long Center on Monday, March 11 at 3:30pm. Graeber, author of the upcoming book, The Good Nurse, spent several weeks with Dotcom and is currently writing a book about the man who has come to symbolize the issue of privacy, piracy, and our digital future.

In March 2012, the Vice President inspired a standing-room-only SXSW audience with his declaration to occupy democracy during his conversation with Sean Parker. This year, he plans to shake things up again by exposing the six critical drivers of global change explored in his new book, The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change.

Released on January 29, The Future has already generated significant praise. Says two-time Pulitzer Prize winner and Harvard University professor E.O. Wilson: "This is a great book. From political policy and economics to science and the most thorny ethical issues, Al Gore has stated the human condition and the issues we face forthrightly, fearlessly and in easily understood language – and has said what must be done. I asked myself halfway through who else could have written a book of such magnitude. The only answer I could imagine was Thomas Jefferson."
