Last night we rounded out this leg of our SXSW V2V Community Tour with a very special stop in our home-away-from-home, Las Vegas.
A warm dry breeze and cool tunes set the stage for a great gathering of Vegas area entrepreneurs and innovators on the rooftop of the beautiful Inspire Theater, right in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas.
SXSW V2V staff and members of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority welcomed guests to this special event celebrating our second great year in Las Vegas. V2V Producer, Christine Auten, and LVCVA Vice President of Global Sales, Chris Meyer, kicked off the shindig with a brief presentation highlighting our latest big programming announcement and why Las Vegas is the perfect backdrop for SXSW V2V.
As one of the premiere international destinations for business conferences and exhibitions, Las Vegas continues to display the tenacity of spirit and vision that has attracted the attention of startup communities from around the world. That ideal speaks to what SXSW is about. We look forward to being part of Las Vegas' ongoing success and evolution, both on the Strip and Downtown.
“We’re excited that SXSW V2V has selected Las Vegas as its official host city for the second annual event,“ said Cathy Tull, senior vice president of marketing for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “As the No. 1 trade show destination in the U.S., Las Vegas offers an exceptional experience for meetings and conventions, allowing delegates the opportunity to conduct serious business and networking while also enjoying world class dining and entertainment found nowhere else.”
