Slumberland Records Returns to SXSW Music
2013 Showcasing Band Weekend
Oakland based indie label Slumberland Records will return to Austin to showcase some of their roster's finest on Wednesday, March 13th at The Iron Bear. Punk group Gold-Bears will open up the night with a high-energy set at 8pm. Cali's own lo-fi rockers Kids On A Crime Spree will follow in suit. Also on the bill is former Osker vocalist and guitarist Devon Williams, and the female noise pop quartet, Wax Idols. Girls Names, an Irish band known for their ethereal surf pop sound, will be providing direct support. Heading the lineup is New York shoegaze act, Weekend, whose second LP is due to be out later this year.

To determine which SXSW Badge holders will be admitted to each show, SXSW will conduct a ticket drawing, which will grant priority entry for Platinum and Music Badge Holders only. No other credentials are eligible to enter these drawings. A limited number of SXSW Wristbands may also be eligible for tickets through a separate process which will be announced closer to the dates of the shows.

After their famed downtown rooftop concert at SXSW 2012, Spotify is coming back to Austin for SXSW 2013!
