Boiler Room TV and Ray-Ban have once again partnered up to bring a killer lineup to SXSW Music on the evening of Saturday, March 15! The Ray-Ban x Boiler Room 004 - SXSW Warehouse Broadcast is a night of hip-hop and electronic music that you won’t want to miss, featuring collaborations between some of today’s hottest DJs and more.
The first act announced this week was Four Tet, a UK electronic musician and DJ. Four Tet’s music takes on an abstract and diverse form, mixing hip hop, electronica, and even jazz at times. The Ray-Ban x Boiler Room 004 - SXSW Warehouse broadcast will be Four Tet’s lone set at SXSW 2014. A back-to-back set with Julio Bashmore and Omar-S was announced this past Tuesday. Both are currently staple house music artists, and will pair UK club culture together with a Detroit edge at SXSW.
DJ Mustard and Tinashe were also added to the lineup for a collaborative set. DJ Mustard is quickly taking US hip hop by storm, having signed to Roc Nation and produced chart-topping hits for 2Chainz, Young Jeezy and Tyga. Tinashe is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Kentucky preparing for the release of her major label debut later this year. Producers Just Blaze and Gaslamp Killer have also been tapped for a back-to-back set. Just Blaze is perhaps best-known as the producer of classic Jay-Z album The Blueprint, and Gaslamp Killer is one of the DJs thought to be responsible for LA’s booming instrumental hip-hop scene.
Finally, Atlanta-based rapper Future was the final act announced for the Ray-Ban x Boiler Room 004 - SXSW Warehouse Broadcast. Future released his debut album, Pluto, in 2012 and is preparing to release his sophomore LP, titled Honest, sometime this year.
Don’t miss the Ray-Ban x Boiler Room 004 - SXSW Warehouse Broadcast on Saturday, March 15! More special guests to be announced.
Ray-Ban also invites you to to visit The Order Of Never Hide at this year's SXSW Festival. Come by the (not so secret) secret society's lodge March 11 - March 15 to take a break from the festival craziness, relax and find out what the (not so secret) secret is all about.
