The SXSW® Music and Media Conference is back for its 27th year. Our reputation as the biggest and most anticipated convergence of all things music is being kept alive by our continued effort to offer compelling daytime programming and stellar nighttime showcases.
As we learn more about the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy, it's apparent that the needs of the affected population are going to quickly outstrip the resources available. SXSW urges you to donate now to the Red Cross, which has a great history of being first on the scene after a disaster, offering the most practical help available. Your contribution, large or small, can make a real difference in people's lives who are lacking the most basic necessities - water, food, shelter, and medical attention.
You can make a donation now at sandyrelief.sxsw.com now. Tell your friends.
For one hour each week, Brooklyn based twin brothers, Darin and Greg Bresnitz (aka Finger On The Pulse) host Heritage Radio Network’s premiere food and music show, Snacky Tunes. The brothers hosted what was effectively a live version of their popular show at SXSW Music 2012, along with Chef Richard Blais and Stereogum Editor Amrit Singh. Check out the video recap where the group provided insights on how to start your own show and what it takes to make a show breakthrough in the crowded spectrum of Internet radio.
