The-DRUMS_SXSW.jpgThe Drums are Brooklyn boys with a Californian flair. Their beach-inspired music is breezy, melodic, and genuinely lighthearted. The product is Beach Boys-esque with an original new-wave, synth-pop edge. Make no mistake though, The Drums are not the every-band, they've got a reputation as one of the best dance party acts around.

The xx to Showcase at SXSW 2010!

The-xx---Owen-Richards-1_0.jpgThe xx's self-titled debut album is surprisingly simplistic and undeniably infectious. Their sound is minimalistic R&B, stripped down to the core essentials: rhythmical seduction. Clean beats laced with provocative, confessional-laden exchanges between dual lead vocalists Romy Madley-Croft and Oliver Sim tap right into the vein of sexuality and vulnerability.
