Congratulations to the winners at the 2016 SXSW Gaming Awards

Tonight, SXSW Gaming announced the winners of the third-annual SXSW Gaming Awards – the punctuation mark to SXSW Gaming – presented by G2A, Curse Inc., Windows Games DX, IGN Entertainment, Twitch, Imaginary Forces and Porter Novelli. The Hilton Austin Downtown hosted the ceremony which was co-emceed by esports icon Rachel “Seltzer” Quirico (@SeltzerPlease) and popular YouTube personality Sean “JackSepticEye” William McLoughlin.

The submission process for all SXSW Gaming Awards categories opened in July 2015 through the official Gaming Awards page and closed in December. Finalists for the SXSW Gaming Awards categories were selected and voted on by the SXSW Gaming Advisory Board, consisting of more than 40 gaming, comic and geek culture industry experts. Once finalists were revealed, the general public, along with the Advisory Board, were invited to cast their vote on IGN.com to help determine the winners in each category, which were revealed and honored at tonight’s SXSW Gaming Awards Ceremony.

All in all, 21 SXSW Gaming Awards were handed out, so without further ado, here are all the big winners from tonight!
