The Renegade Craft Fair (RCF) is a curated indie-craft marketplace showcasing the brightest talents in contemporary craft and design. For the first year, RCF is partnering with South by Southwest to bring the indie craft movement to SXSW registrants and the public. This three-day marketplace will feature a range of exceptional artisans as well as workshops, art installations, demonstrations and special events.
FREE and open to the public
A SXSW Guest Pass is required to attend this and many other free SXSW events. Get yours on site at Renegade or in advance at multiple Austin locations. More information here. Badge and Wristband holders do not need a Guest Pass to attend.

Special features at Renegade Craft Fair: SXSW Edition include the 185+ awesome makers, a beautiful dream catcher installation by The Betty Loo Project, games by MakeATX, and workshops held by J.Hannah Co. and Feto Soap on making custom perfume and nail polish.
Art installations & interactive demonstrations curated by our friends at Raw Paw!
Artists include: Alex Diamond, April Stockwell, Botanical Folklorica, Chris Long Pottery, Cogdut, Fortuna Monsoon, Jillian Newman, Juliana Furioso, La Botanica, Ryan Graeff and Wonderspace.
Caravan Gallery, Parlor and Roadside Attractions are bringing their airstream gallery and special guests all the way from Seattle to inspire and delight!
Caret 6, a large-scale architecture installation from the UT School of Architecture, created using digital software and fabrication technologies for the design of an incredible vaulting structure.
A kid's play space featuring building blocks from Tegu, a social good company that designs products to unlock the mind and inspire creative experiences which captivate children in safe, natural and innovative ways.
TechShop Austin-Round Rock will have a MakerBot 2 3D printer that will be printing mini robots and coins, their Dream Consultants will be doing larger prints throughout the days that demonstrate how you can design your own jewelry, sculptures, scaled models, prototypes, and so much more! They will also have some interactive activities with LittleBits and Makey Makey! Uncommon objects will buzz, light up, and provide tons of hands on fun!
Take a load off and relax at the Good Local Lounge and vintage lounge spaces from Revival Vintage.
Plus there will be music, food trucks, booze and more! Applications to be a Maker at Renegade Craft Fair: SXSW Edition are still currently OPEN on a rolling basis.
