How to Find Events
This year's online schedule provides you with a multitude of ways to filter events. You can sort events by Conference or Event Type. Once you have set the event type filter, you will be able to select specific tracks or genres in the third drop down.
You can also choose to browse events alphabetically by using the alphabet bar just under the dropdown filters.
When no filter is set, the schedule displays events for Music, Film and Interactive Conferences and Festivals. The color coded dots below the name of the event name designate the event as an Interactive (orange), Film (blue) or Music (green) event. An event that is accessible to multiple badge types will be marked using multiple color-coded dots. You can find additional information about accessibility by clicking through to the event's detail page.
Please note that Time/Date or venue information will not be made available until closer to the event.
How to Add an Event
Once you are logged in you can add an event to your schedule by clicking the star next to the event's name. An event that has already been added to your schedule will be denoted by a yellow star. Additionally, you can view all events in your schedule by clicking the My Schedule tab.
*Keep in mind that we've launched the event schedules earlier than ever this year, meaning that events do not yet have a date, time or venue assigned to them. The schedules will be continuously updated as more events are confirmed and more specific time, date and location information becomes available in January. You should continue to add events of interest to your schedule and as time/venue information become available it will automatically show up for that event on your personal schedule.
Register to attend SXSW 2016 today and start building your schedule! We encourage you to play around with the schedules to get the hang of which filtering options work best for you. Have fun, and if you have any questions feel free to email email@example.com.
