The Canadian Blast BBQ and Showcase
The annual Canadian Blast kickoff Showcase & BBQ will be held on Wednesday, March 13th at Brush Square from 2:00 – 6:00 pm and will feature some of the best in Canadian talent. The Canada Stand
CIMA will host the Canada Stand at the Austin Convention Center. Targeted meetings and focused events highlight a jam-packed agenda, as the Canada Stand serves as a touch-point for all Canadian events and activities. Come and meet with Canadian music and interactive industry pros, check out the Canadian showcase schedule and pick up Canadian promotional giveaways. We are open to exploring new business partnerships and business ventures with our colleagues around the world.
Canada House (Friends Bar, 206 East 6th Street) - Canadian Sponsored Showcases
The ever-popular Canada House takes on a new venue for the fourth and most ambitious year yet. Behind closed doors will be a multi-day extravaganza of showcasing all the great music Canada has to offer. Located at Friends Bar in the heart of the SXSW action, Canada House will feature exclusive daytime industry showcases open to VIP Laminate-holders, SXSW badge-holders, and invited guests as well as nighttime official showcases for Canadian bands, open to SXSW badge-holders, wristband holders and the general public.
