Grinbath LLC was founded in 2010 by a group of Texas Tech researchers led by Dr. Brian Still (CEO), director of the Usability Research Lab.
Initially, Grinbath’s founders, Still and Dr. Nathan Jahnke (Chief Scientist), worked out of the Usability Research Lab to develop a low-cost alternative eye tracking system to aid their own research.
After more than a year of continued work, beginning in early 2010, they refined their prototype enough that they felt it could be a viable tool for others to use that needed affordable, effective eye tracking.
Currently, Grinbath is developing a revolutionary product, EG, that utilizes head and eye movement to control objects on screen and beyond. This device can be used in a variety of industries, as it offers users the ability to control and interact with objects simply by looking at them.
