Dean Kamen returns to SXSW on Sunday, March 9

Master inventor, engineer and humanitarian Dean Kamen joins the 2014 SXSW Interactive Festival Featured Speaker lineup on Sunday, March 9.

You may know Kamen from his ground-breaking inventions including the Auto Syringe, the Segway, revolutionary wheelchairs, assistive devices and the “Luke” robotic arm. Or you may know him from meeting in the halls at the 2012 SXSW Interactive Festival.

Kamen will also showcase FIRST(R) (For Recognition of Science and Technology), his global, investment in our future, designed to experientially empower the “next generation“ with essential skills in science, math, physics and engineering.
