Discover What's Happening at SXSW Eco in October

If you haven't registered or booked your hotel yet now is the time–the last registration deadline (and final day to book a hotel with us) is next Friday, September 20. Below we've outlined a few highlights from this week–see everything that we have in the works at sxsweco.com and in our online schedule.

  • Art as a catalyst for change is an emerging theme of SXSW Eco 2013 and we're thrilled that renowned environmental artist Chris Jordan's piece "Cigarette Butts" will be displayed in the Austin Convention Center during the event.

  • Sign up is now open for the Startup Central Breakout Sessions presented by Energy Excelerator. Get access to industry experts for direct advice in pitching, funding, marketing and more for your startup.

  • We've worked with Biomimicry Texas and Biomimicry 3.8 to design the layout for this year's SXSW Eco Exhibition.

  • In other exciting news, Autodesk is presenting Place by Design as well as the SXSW Eco Maker Space. They will demonstrate many of their innovative tools and initiatives that are helping designers, artists and others visualize and create their world-changing ideas.
