Identifying Solutions for a Safe and Civil Online Community
Every SXSW story aims to inspire and shed light on our shared path forward, and the inaugural SXSW Online Harassment Summit shines light on one of society’s darker truths – online hate.
Experts from across the fields of academia, entertainment, online gaming, public policy and social technology will come together to share stories of combating online harassment and to identify solutions on how to make the Internet – and its IRL equivalents – more pervasively inclusive.
SXSW welcomes you to join the discussion on Saturday March 12, to celebrate the champions of online humanity and to collaborate with a community of passionate experts. This programming is open to all Interactive, Film, Gold and Platinum badges.
The Online Harassment Summit will take place on Saturday, March 12 | 9:30am – 6:00pm
208 Barton Springs Rd.
(Free shuttle transportation will be available on site to take attendees to and from the Austin Convention Center)
