Wondering what to do this weekend in Austin? The Chronolog will be previewing some new (and old) SXSW artists on SXSWfm! Get the lowdown on who to see this weekend from Chase Hoffberger and Kevin Curtin of the Austin Chronicle.
Among the list of must-sees this weekend include Bobby Jealousy, a soulful pop band who just got accepted to SXSW in the second lineup announcement. Signed to Austin’s very own Superpop Records, the band has recorded all three of their albums here. The band’s infectious chemistry not only translates into their upbeat music, but also onstage to breathe fresh air into live performances. They will be playing at the Scoot Inn this Sunday, Nov. 24th.
Just last year, Emily Bell rocked the SXSW stage to prove she has a voice and irresistible energy to be reckoned with. Now she is ready to return to her hometown, Austin, to play music from her new album, In Technicolor, at Holy Mountain on Friday, Nov. 22nd.
You can preview new music from Bobby Jealousy, Emily Bell, and other acts in town during the Chronolog show only at SXSWfm.
