The Virtual Cinema is an exhibition that showcases outstanding VR cinema projects by talented international producers and lets SXSW attendees experience them. Each project is a unique experience and ranges from 5 to 40 minutes in length. Stop by to experience technology that will surely change the future of filmmaking.

Virtual reality and augmented reality technologies are finding new ways to enhance our ability to perceive the world that surrounds us, and in many instances they are redefining how we experience the world. The 25 projects presented in our new Virtual Cinema emphasize storytelling, ingenuity and also showcase how other industries are embracing this new medium.
