Watch the Q&A from Richard Linklater’s latest feature and SXSW 2016 Opening Night Film, Everybody Wants Some, moderated by Head of SXSW Film, Janet Pierson.
Director Richard Linklater discusses the phenomenal casting, how the big ensemble of actors became more of a brotherhood, and the cast dives into “embracing your inner strange.” This “spiritual sequel” to Linklater’s Dazed and Confused is set in the world of 1980s college life and follows a group of college baseball players as they navigate their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood.
Everybody Wants Some made its World Premiere on Friday, March 11, 2016 during the 23rd edition of the SXSW Film Festival, and is now in theaters.
