2022 Film Festival History

2022 marked the return to in-person screenings, and audiences came out to celebrate the wide range of work presented at the festival. Opening Night Film Everything Everywhere All At Once and Closing Night Headliner FX’s Atlanta Season 3 Premiere, were adored. Narrative, Documentary and TV Premiere program highlights include: The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Apollo 10 ½: A Space Age Childhood, Bodies Bodies Bodies,X, Spin Me Round, The Locust, The Lost City, Brené Brown: Atlas of the Heart, DMZ, and The Last Movie Stars, More Than Robots, Bad Axe, Descendant, Diamond Hands: The Legend of WallStreetBets, Fire of Love, Kids in The Hall: Comedy Punks, Still Working 9 to 5, Gabby Giffords Won’t Back Down, We Feed People, Facing Nolan,Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off, Sheryl, Mickey: The Story of a Mouse, The Man Who Fell To Earth, Shining Girls, WeCrashed, They Call Me Magic. The Narrative Jury Winner was I Love My Dad and the Documentary Jury winner was Master of Light. Other award winners included Everything Everywhere All At Once, It is In Us All, Bad Axe, Pez Outlaw, What We Leave Behind, Chee$e, A Vanishing Fog. Nicolas Cage was presented the 40 years of Massive Talent Award at the awards Ceremony.
