Later today, we will announce 500+ confirmed sessions for the 2014 SXSW Interactive Festival. But as a preview to this announcement, I would like to highlight a few of the SXSW Gaming sessions that we are excited to host this season. If you are a fan, a game developer, or just curious about the gaming industry, I know that you will find something that interests and inspires you.
So, without further adieu, here are a handful of SXSW Gaming's stellar sessions for the 2014 season:
For the Street Fighter fans out there, please check out Hadouken! Street Fighter Takes on Pop Culture.
If you have ever wondered about the mythical story of the rise and fall of Atar's infamous game ET, please check out Unearthing the Atari Graveyard: The Search for ET.
This season, we continue feature programming for attendees who would like to learn how to create unique and exciting games on their own. We are very excited to bring back Unity Technologies and workshops using their amazing game development engine, Unity3D. Please see Unity for All: Intro to Unity 4.
SXSW Gaming hopes to continue to deliver on our mantra of celebrating creativity and innovation in the video game industry, through the diversity of the gaming panels and sessions found this season. Please keep checking back on our webpage for more information on our programming, more highlights for the 2014 season, and more cool announcements in coming days.
