Featuring a 440-inch screen using Sony’s Crystal LED display system, and immersive 22.2ch surround sound, the world’s first 8K broadcast network NHK brings a genuine next-gen experience to SXSW.

Rock out to world premiere footage from Sting & Shaggy’s recent tour in glorious 8K, then stop by later to experience a virtual 8K tour of Tokyo on a screen implementing Sony’s state-of-the-art Crystal LEDs, which offer precise color reproduction on a 99% black surface area using 0.003 mm2 ultrafine LEDs, viewable from 180-degrees.

For the Tokyo Virtual Tour, a special guest tour guide straight from Japan will take you through some of Tokyo’s most famous neighborhoods, complete with facts about these popular tourist destinations.
