Across the extensive SXSW film program, you'll find pleny of international productions, from any number of countries. In 2011, SXSW presented the US premiere of French film Our Day Will Come, the directorial feature debut of Romain Gavras. This incendiary fable that picks up on some of the themes in Gavras' acclaimed, ultra-viral (and ultra-violent) video for MIA's Born Free, which you can watch here.
Starring Vincent Cassel and Olivier Barthelme (and a fleeting early appearance by Joséphine de le Baume, from this year's Kiss of the Damned) Our Day WIll Come has to be one of the oddest, most invigorating road movies ever made. Judge for yourself - the film has finally dropped on iTunes via Oscilloscope, and you can check it out here.
