Be part of the 2014 SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award!

We have just taken the lid off the SXSW Gaming Awards, but I wanted to highlight, specifically, one of the cool categories we have this year: The SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award.

This award was created so that independent developers would have a chance to let their games shine, and to have these played by the many, many attendees at the 2014 SXSW Gaming Expo.

One of the key ingredients to helping your independent game become successful, is exposure.   By entering your indie game for the 2014 SXSW Gamer’s Voice award and by having it nominated by the SXSW Gaming staff, you will gain exposure and a “focus” group like no other!  The top 10 SXSW Gamer’s Voice Nominees (as judged by SXSW staff), get free space in the Indie Showcase, March 7-9 on the SXSW Gaming Expo floor.  Attendees will demo your game, and vote on their favorite, with the winner taking home the first-ever SXSW Gamer’s Award at the Gaming Awards show on Saturday evening, March 8.

The deadline to enter your project for the 2014 SXSW Gamer's Voice Award is Friday, December 13, 2103 at 11:59 p.m. CST.  There is absolutely no application fee to submit -- but remember, we only can accept one project per developer. To enter your project for the SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award, and to learn more about the rules and regulations, please visit the official SXSW Gamer’s Voice Award application form.
