At SXSW, Budweiser is launching “Tackle Impossible: A Force for Safer Roads” in the U.S. The initiative is designed to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit of young adults to tackle global road safety and help find innovative solutions to the problem of drinking and driving. Budweiser will reward safe-driving ideas posted to social media using @Budweiser and #TackleImpossible with free pedicab rides from 4pm to 12am on Saturday, March 12th through Monday, March 14th. Lyft Rides will also be provided by Budweiser throughout the entire SXSW festival. Ideas submitted by SXSW attendees will also be presented at the two-day SXgood Hub on March 14-15 at Palm Door on Sixth.
SXgood Hub Schedule
Opening the SXgood Hub each day, a variety of thought leaders curated by the United Nations Foundation speak to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Following this kickoff, the SXgood Stories and Lab sessions spotlight the role of technology and design in creating social impact. SXgood Stories feature a series of short talks from leading social innovators, who will speak to how they are driving social change within their field. Immediately following the Stories, speakers will facilitate a collaborative SXgood Lab that provides attendees the opportunity to explore the topic in-depth and contribute their ideas.
