Tuesday Keynote - John Maeda

The Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) Design Partner takes the SXSW V2V keynote stage Tuesday, July 15 to share his experience making the transition from the Rhode Island School of Design to KPCB. The accomplished creative continues to inspire as he bridges the gap between disciplines. This keynote will highlight his learnings about startups through the new lens of venture capital. Get a tease of his talk at from an interview about his career, inspirations and thoughts on creativity and entrepreneurship.

V2Venture MC - Christine Herron

Our no-holds-barred, Vegas-style pitch competition, V2Venture, is emceed by Christine Herron, Director at Intel Capital. After hosting a top-rated panel at V2V in 2013, and Herron returns this year as an integral part of the V2Venture journey for participating startups. Herron will guide the July 16 day-long competition from beginning to end, working with the judges of each of the five categories to provide important feedback to the presenting startups. 20/20 Vision

Exclusive to SXSW V2V, 20/20 Vision sessions feature intense 20-minute presentations from established business and entrepreneurial voices, as well as up-and-coming creative visionaries. This shorter format allows audiences to experience a wide range of differing viewpoints and ideas from the people who are shaping the future.
