Paul Qui to Curate a Gourmet Selection of Eateries at SouthBites!

Photo Courtesy of Rebecca Fondren We are excited to announce that local food maven, Paul Qui is partnering with SXSW to curate a selection of gourmet food trucks for SXSW attendees this year. Paul is the executive Chef at Qui, opening in Spring 2013, the owner of Austin’s renowned East Side King trailers, winner of Top Chef Season 9, and is the recipient of the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southwest 2012.

SouthBites is operating for all nine days of SXSW (March 8-16), open to the public and located at the corner of Rainey and Driskill streets, close to many of SXSW's largest venues. Whether a quick bite between programming, or a late-night feast, it will be an essential destination for thousands of hungry Music, Film and Interactive fans and industry players.

With Qui’s involvement, SXSW aims to provide a unique, high caliber selection of eateries– bringing together Austin’s well-known food truck culture and diverse range of cuisines.
