Cheadle has had a long and varied career as an actor, including a Best Actor Oscar nomination for 2004’s Hotel Rwanda. In 2016, he brought his directorial debut, the Miles Davis biopic Miles Ahead (in which Cheadle also starred as Davis), to SXSW Film and also sat down for an interview session with David Edelstein of New York Magazine to discuss the film and his career.
