Wow, has the 2014 SXSW Interactive Festival season arrived already? Yes, it has–and we are very excited about this year's journey! Over the next few months, we will be rolling out lots and lots of information about all the amazing activities and events planned for March in Austin. Some of the most important dates to remember with regards to this rollout are as follows.
August 11-14: Inaugural SXSW V2V event occurs in Las Vegas. Focused mainly on entrepreneurs, startups and innovations, SXSW V2V offers the kinds of incredible career-enhancing connections that you experience in March in Austin. Keynotes by Tony Hsieh, Steve Case and Lauren Bush Lauren.
Monday, August 19: First day of public voting on 2014 SXSW PanelPicker proposals. Tell us which community-submitted content ideas you like most and which you like least! Remember that the SXSW PanelPicker also serves as a barometer of the new media industry. Browse the 3000+ ideas to get the pulse of the digital creative mindset.
Friday, September 6: Final day for public voting on 2014 SXSW PanelPicker proposals. Your last chance to vote (and comment) on programming for March in Austin.
Friday, September 6: Final deadline for registering for 2014 SXSW Interactive Festival at the early-bird rate. Save save save if you pay your fees by the end of this day.
Monday, October 14: The bulk of content announced for the 2014 SXSW Interactive Festival. Watch the SXSW website on this day for details on the featured sessions, solo presentations, panels, book readings, mentor sessions, meet ups and more that will occur in March in Austin.
Friday, November 8: Final deadline for entering your cool new digital project in the 2014 SXSW Interactive Awards. The Interactive Awards occur on the evening of Tuesday, March 11 at the Downtown Hilton.
Friday, November 8: Final deadline for entering your amazing new startup in SXSW Accelerator. For 2014, SXSW Accelerator occurs Saturday, March 8 and Sunday, March 9 at the Downtown Hilton. Attend the new SXSW Accelerator Awards ceremony on Sunday evening, March 9.
