Earlier today, we announced that the entry process for the 2014 SXSW Gaming Awards has kicked off. Scheduled on the evening of Saturday, March 8, this awards ceremony is the newest addition to the mix of activities that fall within SXSW Gaming.
But if you can't wait until March 2014 to get your fill of gaming-related content (and if you live on the East Coast), then you should attend the Boston Festival of Indie Games. Scheduled Saturday, September 14 at the Stratton Student Center and the Johnson Athletic Center on the MIT campus in Cambridge, this event celebrates independent game development in a variety of media and genres. Festival attendees play video games and tabletop games in a casual, inclusive environment, plus attend film screenings and keynote talks.
The Boston Festival of Indie Games is FREE and open to the public. To register to attend, click here.
