Place by Design Announces Judges for SXSW 2019

Place by Design is SXSW’s design competition that celebrates the intersection of art, technology, and design as it transforms public space and reimagines how we use and interact with our shared spaces. Artists, architects, designers, and urbanists at all levels submit their scalable solutions for improving shared landscapes, and the selected finalists present their work in a fast-paced pitch competition during the Design Track of the 2019 SXSW Conference.

A panel of judges will conduct a Q&A session with each finalist as part of the pitch competition and determine the winner. This year’s judges come from all over the country and have risen to the top of their fields providing a diverse judging board. Meet them below!
