SXSW Community Meet Up. Photo by Mason Stewart Last night's Community Meet Up hosted at the Dallas Entrepreneur Center was a perfect microcosm of the SXSW Interactive experience. Nearly 150 people from different backgrounds, various industries showed up to mingle and share ideas.

Programmers, advertising gurus, and even a few playwrights all came together to make this Meet Up a great success. With a slightly heavier entrepreneurialism crowd, our Startup Village manager had a constant flow of business leaders interested in learning how to further spread their ideas through the event. SXSW is a terrific way for new business owners to expand their networks, learn the keys of maintaining and scaling their businesses, as well as learn vital entrepreneurial advice from business veterans and experts.

At the end of the event, everyone came away with a better picture of what SXSW Interactive is all about: bringing creative people together and helping them pursue their goals. As an incubator of cutting-edge technology and digital creativity, SXSW Interactive is the place to discover the technology of tomorrow, today.

Join us at the next Community Meet Up which will be hosted in San Antonio on January 21 and in Houston on January 28. These Community Meet Ups are a great way to learn more about SXSW, how to get involved with the Festival, and to meet other people who hold similar interests. We even play a short game of trivia where one lucky attendee will win an Interactive badge!
