Tired of spending money on pesky DVDs for film festival submissions? Dealing with compatibility problems, wrong file types, region issues, the additional cost of postage? Well say goodbye to all that, Short Filmmakers!

SXSW Film is constantly evolving and thinking of new ways to help filmmakers. This year, we are saying NO to DVDs for Short Film Submissions. Instead, all Narrative Shorts, Documentary Shorts, Animated Shorts, Music Videos and Texas High School Short Film submissions must be submitted by URL link.

So microwave that stack of DVDs (not really), post your film on an external site (i.e. your own website, Vimeo, or YouTube HD, etc.) and submit your short film, Texas High School Film or Music Video to SXSW today!
