Black Violin - "Virtuoso": SXSW Music 2013 from SXSW on Vimeo.

It is really hard to rock a crowd at 10:30am during SXSW, but Black Violin got 2,000 people on their feet and hands in the air with their genre-bending mix of hip-hop and virtuoso string arrangements, as the prelude music before Dave Grohl's Keynote address. The buzz in that huge ballroom was palpable just moments after their set began and the crowd responded immediately. Check out one of Black Violin's really cool, unique songs for yourself in the video above.

Black Violin's new album, Classically Trained drops on May 7, and you can preview it and order here.
