Cold War Kids released their fourth full-length album, Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, on April 2, less than three weeks after playing a "jam packed" show at House of Vans during SXSW. Dear Miss Lonelyhearts was inspired by Nathanael West's novel "Miss Lonelyhearts," which tells the story of a journalist who breaks under the agony of the people who write in to his advice column. According to the Huffington Post, the story is told in typical Cold War Kids fashion with "well-tailored, drum-heavy tracks." Cold War Kids are currently making their way through Europe before returning to the U.S. for a tour in May.
