SPIN at Stubbs (RSVP now closed)
SPIN at Stubb’s: SPIN will return to the legendary Stubb’s BBQ (801 Red River St.) for the 11th consecutive year featuring a lineup that buzzes with a diverse array of today’s most original young artists. Hip-hop’s lyrical virtuoso Kendrick Lamar will headline, and be joined on the main stage by R&B innovator Solange, Scottish synth-pop romantics CHVRCHES, melancholy psych-soul trio Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and New York indie upstarts Parquet Courts. SPIN has also arranged for a special guest appearance by rapper Trinidad Jame$ of “All Gold Everything” fame. Trailblazing electronic act Machinedrum will play a special set from the North stage, and head-spinning DJs Jackmaster and Oneman will hit the decks on Smirnoff’s Master of the Mix Indoor stage.
